Help us fund Umtentweni's camera network.
You do not have to patrol to help protect Umtentweni. Residents, property owners and local businesses can help strengthen community safety by contributing toward camera infrastructure and its ongoing upkeep.
We will publish the confirmed target and live progress once the current camera quote / project scope is finalised. No figure is being invented for display.
Practical infrastructure for community safety.
Camera infrastructure can assist community safety partners with awareness around incidents and movements in the area.
Where available, footage may help authorised parties identify vehicles, timelines or other information after an incident.
New funding can help extend coverage and reduce gaps without publicly revealing sensitive network locations.
The network also needs connectivity, power, storage, repairs and maintenance after equipment is installed.
The camera is only one part of the system.
