Community Patrols

Show up for the streets we call home.

The patrol system is designed to make volunteering easier: one permanent Patroller Portal for registration, weekly availability, approved rosters and shift confirmations, with a clearer view for the CPF team preparing the roster.

Built for volunteers
Less chasing. Better rosters.
✓Volunteer interest captured once
✓Active patrollers use one permanent portal link every week
✓Availability is stored against the correct patroller
✓Admin can immediately see who has responded
Patroller identities, availability and future rosters are private operational information and will not be published on the public website.
How the weekly flow works

One simple cycle, every week.

01
Ask once

One reminder is posted in the patroller WhatsApp group with the permanent Patroller Portal link.

02
Select availability

The member selects the actual 21h00–23h00, 24h00–02h00 and 03h00–05h00 slots they can assist.

03
Review coverage

The patrol coordinator sees responses in one private view instead of scrolling through WhatsApp messages.

04
Prepare roster

The final roster can be approved from confirmed availability, with open slots followed up separately.

Roster automation

Availability first. Draft roster next.

The system is now structured to collect weekly availability and show response status privately. The automated roster generator will use the CPF's actual patrol shift pattern rather than inventing patrol times or staffing rules.
